About the Team
You’ll work as part of Adult Services, collaborating closely with colleagues across Operations, HR, Finance, Quality, Estates, IT, and Business Development. The team works in partnership with commissioners, housing providers, families, and external partners to ensure services are launched, transitioned, or closed in a safe, compliant, and people‑centred way.
About the Role
As the Mobilisation & Divestment Manager, you’ll lead the end‑to‑end mobilisation of new services and the safe, compassionate divestment, closure, or transfer of existing services. You’ll take full ownership of complex transitions, ensuring legal, regulatory, and quality requirements are met while protecting the wellbeing of autistic people, families, and staff and supporting sustainable organisational growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, manage and deliver the end-to-end mobilisation of new services/referrals
- Lead the planned divestment, deregistration, closure or transfer of services
- Ensure regulatory, contractual and safeguarding requirements are met throughout any service exit or transfer
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience of mobilising new services in a social care or health setting
- Understanding of how adult social care services operate, including regulated service delivery and quality standards
- Willing and able to travel extensively
