About the Role
As a Class Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching and learning to pupils with autism, ensuring progress against individual EHCP outcomes. You’ll plan and deliver an engaging, personalised curriculum, lead your classroom team, and work closely with families and professionals to support each pupil’s development and wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, deliver, and assess a broad, balanced, and individualised curriculum that meets statutory requirements and EHCP objectives.
- Lead and manage the classroom environment, including supporting and guiding class staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality practice.
- Work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and professionals to monitor progress, report outcomes, and support pupil development.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and experience teaching children or young people, ideally within SEN or autism settings.
- Strong classroom leadership skills, with the ability to create a structured, supportive, and safe learning environment.
- A committed, resilient professional who shares our values and is motivated to make a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives.

This advert is for a full-time permanent role, at 35 hours per week.
